The Machan - Jungle Stay

The Machan is located in scenic Jambulne, about 17 km from Lonavala. It is a 2.5 hour drive from Mumbai, and 1.5 hour drive from Pune. 

Hidden from view and nestled within the trees, by following the road less travelled you will find yourself within our woods approaching the Jungle Machan. Raised off the ground, these accommodations are the perfect match for those looking to completely escape into Nature.

Details of the Jungle Machans:

Each Jungle Machan has four distinct sections - a) Master Bedroom b) Two Bathrooms, including outdoor shower and tub c) Wooden Decks & d) the Loft

The Jungle Machans are our latest offering and they truly put a new spin on the term "tree-house". With living trees sprouting from the floor and going through the roof, the feeling of being one with Nature is fully encapsulated. Creature comforts aside, the Jungle Machans also boast of a glass ceiling above the bed (for those starry nights) and an open to sky bath with a victorian bathtub and an outdoor shower (an experience not to be missed). For larger families and groups, each Jungle Machan also offers the benefit of a loft area with a Queen size bed and its own private sit-out, the views from which are truly unmatched.

Attached to the master bedroom are two luxurious modern bathrooms, complete with hardwood teak floors, hot and cold running water & eco-friendly toiletries. The master bathroom also boasts of a lovely standalone victorian bathtub and shower area that are open to sky.

Extending outward from the master bedroom is a teak Wooden Deck. We highly recommend spending your evenings sipping tea and listening to the sounds of the birds or watching the Malabar flying squirrel hopping branch-to-branch from the comfort of this private deck. Our Jungle Machans are recommended for couples & families with older children (ages 10+).

Amenities:
Services include daily housekeeping (free of charge), morning newspaper (upon request) and in-room dining. For our guided evening nature trails & star gazing sessions, please get in touch with our 24-hour front desk.

  • Rates are inclusive of a full Breakfast for all guests
  • Rates are exclusive of 16.80% applicable government taxes
  • Check-In time is 14:00 hrs & Check-Out time is 11:00 hrs.
  • A minimum two-night stay is required on weekends between Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • Guests have the option to join us for Lunch and/or Dinner as well. Advance notice is required.
* Rates not valid for Public Holidays including Christmas, New Year and Select Long Weekends
* No Cancellations or Refunds what-so-ever will be entertained for any booking during Diwali, Christmas or New Years

Jadhav Wadi Dam - Talegaon

Greetings... Jadhav wadi dam is situated after crossing the Navlakh Umbre hill station? Actually there is nothing to see there near dam, but it is useful for those who need " Ekant", cool, calm place  & enjoy with group of  friends means party. The road up to the dam from main road is rough. As I was on 2 wheeler , I managed to go upto the destination, for car its difficult. But anyway it is a short cut to Talegaon from Bhama askhed.
