Do you remember the game " Hide and Seek ".....??.Water falls play this game.. how?... because while driving thr' this road from Kanhe phata to Khandi lot of water falls comes in picture and suddenly gets disappears and again new water fall come in picture... and this was continued till last station Sawale and Tata Power company...
What I think is that this one is also most scenic road in Pune. Every one must visit this road during July and August in monsoon season.
Do remember that there is not a single Tapari/ hotel on whole route from Kanhe phata to khandi except at Vadeshwar and near Water fall as like bhushi dam steps...means you will not get any tea, breakfast from Vadeshwar to khandi, you have to arrange at your own. Kanhe phata to Khandi distance is 35km.
From pune khandi is at 78 km and route is pune- nigdi-talegaon- kanhe phata- khandi. and from Lonavala it is 58 km and route is lonavala- kamshet-kanhe phata- khandi. Google map attached below.
Stay option is available at Mohite Farm house. You can stay at this dam front farm house at cost of Rs. 2500 per room and more
