Its time of Diwali. Therefore every body is busy in scheduled tasks like train, bus booking. Busy in shopping, busy in planning the things to get it done, busy in planning holidays....
We are here to suggest the options, book the cottages, resorts online/ offline, to rent a car as cheap as possible. After all choice is yours where to go? how to go? how to enjoy?
Here I will suggest one route to you all. On this route there are number of pilgrimage places where you can stop and take a "Darshan" of number of temples of the GOD.
Below I have pasted google map for referance. Round the trip total distance covered is 400km. It is a one night two days journey.
Below are the major attractions on the way....
1. Kanifnath Temple
2. Jejuri- Lord Khandoba temple
3. Shri Ram temple - Phaltan
4. Shikhar Shinganapur- Lord Mahadeo temple
5. Gupta Ling - Mahadeo temple
6. Mahalaxmi temple - Mohi
7. Mhaswad- Lord Sidhanath temple
8. Gondavalekar Maharaj temple- Gondavale
9. Aundh ( Satara)
Day one- Start from pune. Go via Saswad road. At Saswad take a right turn to reach Kanifnath. It will take 2 hrs. Afterwords go to the Jejuri, Juna Gad. It will take 1-1.5 hrs. take same route to reach phaltan. Phaltan is very famous for old temples. Shri Ram temple is very famous. Lots of film were shooted there like Khatta - Mitha of Mr. Akshay kumar, Gadhavach Lagna of Mr. Makrand Anaspure and many more. From phaltan take a route to Dahiwadi. After crossing the Dahiwadi at about 5 km distance there is a Gandavalekar Maharaj Math. It is very big in size. Here you can take halt for one night. Its free of cost. A very good and cleaned rooms are available here for Bhaktas. Also you can take Mahaprasad/ dinner here. Hot and cold water facility is also available here. But remeber to reach here beore 8 pm.
Day 2- Take a road to Shikhar Shinganapur. This place is very famous for Lord Mahadeo temple. Very good temple of Lord Mahadeo on Hill side. then take a route to Mhaswad. On the way there is a Gupta Ling a valley temple of Lord Shankar. You can observe monkeys here too. Then on the way take a halt a Mohi Mahalaxmi temple. then to go the Lord Siddhanath & Jogeshwari temple at Mhaswad.
After Mhaswad take a road of Vaduj to go the Aundh. The location of the temple is on hill side. Wind flowing continuosly, which gives feeling of happiness, calm, cool, excited...I like this place the most. Below temple there is a musium. Don't forget to visit this musium....it was the last point of trip to visit......
On the way there are hotels and Dhaba's where you can take tea, breakfast and lunch. It is such a route that you can cover maximum number of Pilgrim places within two days. We have started pune's lowest car rental services.
