As per yesterdays discussion, Our one days picnic route is pune to pirangut-paud-hadshi-pavna dam-prati pandharpur-lonavala-pune. Round the trip total distance covered is 145km. Prati Pandharpur temple of Vitthal, Rukmini is at Dudhiware Khind near Pavana dam. It is the replica of Very famous temple at Pandharpur in Maharashtra India. In mansoon season lot of peoples visited this places. Nearby tourist attractions are 1. Mulshi Dam 2.  Pavana Dam 3. Tikona Fort 4. Lohgad Fort 5. Hadshi temple 6.Tung 7.Chinmay Vibhuti Aashram 8.  Lonavala water falls & Bushi Dam To reach this place you have to come to Pavana dam. Hadshi Temple

!! SAI RAM !! Hadshi- Pandurang Kshetra is made by Shri Satya Sai baba in 2009. This temple is spread on 300 acres of land. It is a very beautiful place surrounded by mountains & greenary. Many Punekar & Mumbaikar visit this place during Mansoon season. This temple open from Morning 7am to Late night 8pm daily. To reach Hadshi there are two routes one is from Chandani Chouk to Pirangut to Paud to Hadshi & other is from old pune-mumbai road, you have to come to pavana dam road then near pawana dam take a left turn to reach Hadshi. Hadshi is total 47km from Pune. Small canteen facility is available at temple, but if you have food with you then you can enjoy your food in green lawn infront of the temple. Lawn is spread over 4 acres of land. Very beautiful landscaping is done. This temple is made for Lord Vitthal, Rukmini and shree Ganesh. There is a Meditation hall below temple. " Where you want to go this weekend for one day picnic?" asked my friend. I said" Prati Shirdi Saibaba temple, Birla Ganpati at somatane, Ghoradeshwar & Dehu..." "oh good...& What about water falls & Varsha Vihar?"...." I planned it in next week..."me Greetings to everybody. Last week I visited above picnic spots near pune & in next week I planned to discover new water fall points near pune. Birla Ganpati, a very large Mangal Murti Morya IDOL 72 foot is situated at Shirgaon about 26km from pune. Its route is very well known Pune- Nigdi- Dehu-Somatane. After crossing the Somatane toll plaza, take a first left & again take a left turn to reach Base parking of the Birla Ganapati. One the way there is a Ghoradeshwar. Near by places to visit are Prati Shirdi Shirgaon, Sant. Tukaram Karma bhumi Dehu. You can visit all these places in one day. This Idol is made by Sarala Birla. Rupesh Misal- Somatane Phata

Are you planning to go to the Lonavala, Karla, Pawna dam, Hadshi, Prati Shirdi at Shirgaon, Birla Ganpati at Somatane or Bedse caves etc. then don't forget to do break fast of Misal Pav at Rupesh Misal -Somatane Phata. Rupesh Misal is very famous break fast point on old pune-mumbai road. To reach Rupesh Misal, you have to cross the toll naka on Somatane then after 400m there is a left turn for the expressway. You have to take this road then after 300m at left hand side there is a board of the "Rupesh Misal" This Shop is open from 8am to 5pm. Closed on Saturdays. Taste of the misal Pav is excellent. No. of peoples came here for only Misal Pav. Cost of the Misal Pav is Rs. 50/- . Extra bread costs Rs. 5/-. Due to the huge demand of the Misal Pav Rupesh Murhe Opened another shop at Hinjewadi Yelwandewasti. This shop remain open for all the days & timing is 8am to 6pm.
