One day picnic, trip around Pune- Satara road Route 11

Last Sunday, I planned one day picnic/ trip near pune & route is on Pune -Satara road.
All these are Tourist attraction points near pune...

1. Baneshwar Temple & Rock Garden (B)
2. Baneshwar water fall (B)
3. Prati Balaji temple (C)
4. Purandar Fort (D)
5. Bhatghar Dam (E)

All above spots are at nearby locations on pune satara road & easy to cover in one day. If you are with family & kids then you can skip Purandar fort & enjoy rest attractions. Round the trip pune-pune you coved total distance of 142km.

Split up distances between the attractions are

Pune to Baneshwar distance is 36km
Baneshwar to Prati Balaji temple -10.5km
Prati Balaji to Purandar fort - 16km
Purandar fort to Bhatgar dam 29.5km
Bhatgar dam to Pune- 50km

You can start journey early in morning then go to the Baneshwar -Mahadev temple, can do break fast in the small hotels near temple, wonder in the Rock Garden near temple then enjoy the water fall near Rock garden. Then Leave this place and go to the Balaji temple, after Balaji darshan you can take a Maha-prasad at this temple between 9am to 3pm. Then if you have time go to the Purandar fort & afterwords go to the Bhatgar dam. You will definitely enjoy all these picnic spots in whole journey.
